Biography

Hereafter some information about my experience:

Main details

After graduating in "Economics", at Università La Sapienza di Roma, I have been working in a Insurance Company since many years.

I have been attracted from Photography since when I was young ( High School ), but only in December 2006, following a “Reportage sociale e Fotogiornalismo” course by Officine Fotografiche, the superficial attraction has been transformed in true passion.

In March 2007 I took part at a workshop taught by Dario De Dominicis, in Andalucía ( Spain ) where we followed and photographed the touching celebrations that take place during the “Holy Week” every year.

In January 2008 I made an interesting experience at Laboratory I-Lab, organized from the Association "Makenoise", where I took part at the realization of the Project “Roma : quando l’immigrazione produce”; together with others 15 photographers and 8 journalists, we tried to represent how 8 immigrants, arrived from 4 different continents, have been integrated into the social context of Rome. The Project ended with the publication of a pamphlet, and with an exhibition in Museo di Roma in Trastevere in January 2009.

In December 2008 I followed a workshop taught by Dario De Dominicis in Cuba, where we enjoyed and appreciated the daily life and the touching and intense celebrations of the cuban culture. My work with the celebrations of  “La Parranda” that take place during the Christmas night in Remedios, has been exhibited during the V Edition of Fotoleggendo in Rome, with the title of  Ron y fuego”, in October 2009.

In July 2010, I followed a workshop about Documentary Photography, taught by Philip Blenkinsop ( Noor Images ), during the Fotopub Festival, that take place yearly in a small village of Slovenia named Novo Mesto.

In September 2010, I took part at a workshop taught by Vanessa Winship and George Georgiou during the VI Edition of Fotoleggendo in Rome.
